There are many beautiful mountain streams and larger rivers for fly fishing
near Nagoya. Japanese native trout, Yamame and Iwana, also some rainbow
trout and brown trout are swimming around.
Experienced professional guide will take you to the best spot. Main tackle
will be 8 feet, 3 weight rod with dry fly, also you can try two-handed
rod for larger river. The guide will provide all flyfishing equipments.
Of course, it will be fun for multi-days trip with the guide. We can also
arrange Japanese Spa, "ONSEN" Lodge near rivers.
Also, this area is your best choice while you are staying in Kyoto. We
are sorry there is no guide service in Kyoto. You can take Shinkansen (bullet
train) to Ngaoya, it takes only 35min., then the guide can pick you up
at the station.
